* **Position Overview**
* Under the direction of the medical providers, this position's primary function is to process referral request and obtain authorization for medical services. The responsibilities of the Patient Services Coordinator include: data entry of referrals and authorizations, verification of eligibility and daily communication with insurance companies. The Patient Service Coordinator works closely with the clinical team and medical providers to provide care for our patients timely.

* Minimum Required:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Two (2) years experience working in healthcare
* Two (2) years experience working in customer service
* Proficient PC skills
* Knowledge of Medical Terminology
* Preferred:
* Knowledge of insurance referral process
* Basic computer skills; EHR, Excel, Microsoft Office
