As part of our continued expansion and succession planning, SmartEdge is seeking an impact performer to fill the role of Sales Account Executive in our Rochester Office. This role will cover our territories in Rochester and Buffalo, NY.


Operational Goals:



+ Ambassador for SmartEdge - Focused on Promoting Smart Building Solutions and Mechanical Services to clients and potential clients


+ Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction by meeting all commitments made and following through with every customer request


+ Serve as the Trusted Advisor to all of our clients and potential clients


+ Conduct continuous improvement and account management meetings with clients


+ Renew existing Controls & Mechanical Professional Support Agreements


+ Negotiate and sell new agreements that best fit the clients need and budget


+ Assist with design, plan and budget capital projects for clients


+ Work closely with the mechanical & electrical contractors, our Energy Services Group and mechanical equipment specialists to develop and secure projects


+ Increase your own professional and technical skills (including laughter)

Professional Knowledge and Education:



+ AAS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or engineering management preferred


+ Ten Years industry related experience, of which at least five years is in a sales position


+ Previous experience with controls, smart building systems, or HVAC systems required


+ We hire heroes -military background strongly considered
